Reiki is an amazing, powerful, spiritual healing energy with its roots in Japanese origin. I am Certified Master in both Usui Ryoho , Usui Tibetan Reiki, and Sekhem (Egyptian) Reiki.

Reiki is the beautiful life energy that flows through all living things. It is believed that a person’s ki or energy should be strong and free-flowing. When this is the case a person is physically, mentally, and emotionally balanced and their body and mind are in a positive state of health. When the energy becomes weak or blocked it could lead to symptoms of physical or emotional imbalance.

Sekhmet is the Goddess of Healing:

Despite her terrifying aspect, Sekhmet is also revered as a healer. She is associated with the curing of diseases and the restoration of health.

Protectress of Women: Sekhmet is seen as a protector of women and childbirth. She is believed to assist in a safe delivery.

Essentially, Sekhmet represents the balance between creation and destruction, life and death. Her image was both feared and revered by the ancient Egyptians, and her temples were places of both worship and appeasement.

Cancer is a disease that has touched the lives of countless people around the world. Whether it's a family member, friend, or even ourselves, the impact of cancer can be devastating. Not only does it take a physical toll on the individual, but it also affects their loved ones who are left to cope with the emotional and mental toll of the disease.

I lost my Mother almost 6 years ago to cancer and it seems like yesterday. I cannot even begin to explain the overwhelming feelings which come over me at any given time. Some days are better than others.

World Cancer Day is important to me.

World Cancer Day is an annual global initiative led by the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) held every 4th of February. It aims to raise awareness about cancer, promote education and encourage individuals, governments, and organizations to take action against cancer. By working together, we can create a world where preventable cancer deaths are avoided, and everyone has access to life-saving cancer treatment and care, regardless of their location or social status.

Since its inception in 2000, World Cancer Day has become a movement that brings people together under one voice to tackle one of the most significant health challenges facing the world. This day is marked by numerous activities and events, which take place in schools, businesses, hospitals, community centers, parks, and places of worship.

Making mistakes is an inevitable part of life. It is through our mistakes that we learn and grow, and become better versions of ourselves. However, it takes courage to admit our mistakes and take responsibility for them. It is easy to blame others or make excuses, but it takes strength to own up to our faults.

✨Once we acknowledge our mistakes, it is important to not dwell on them or beat ourselves up over them. Instead, we must have the resilience to learn from them and move forward. This means reflecting on what went wrong and figuring out how to do better next time.

✨It is also important to remember that mistakes do not define us. We are not our mistakes. We are human, and humans make mistakes. What matters most is how we respond to them. So, have the courage to make mistakes and the resilience to grow from them.🙏🏾✨
